Speaking and partnership opportunities

CEO, Catherine Wheatley, is accustomed to speaking events and is keen to meet with groups and corporate partners to introduce the work of WFAV.

Speaking events are centred around Catherine’s lived experiences in the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia. As a hobbyist photographer, Catherine’s rich imagery helps to communicate her story, bringing to life the friends she has made and the villages she serves.

WFAV encourages a donation be made to cover Catherine’s time and travel costs when attending speaking events, but this is not mandatory. All requests are encouraged to get in touch.

We pay respect to the traditional and original owners of this land, the Muwinina (mou-wee-nee-nar) people - to those who have passed before us, and to acknowledge today's Tasmanian Aboriginal people who are the custodians of this land.
